I could believe it, because the March filled PA Ave from 9:30 AM to 2:40 PM, and the Marchers filled 2/3 of the Mall and surrounded the Capitol, according to reports I read. I was near the front, by the statue of the General at First Street, centered. It was a glorious day for Liberty.
