Kansas Governor Recommends Raising Taxes
The Kansas economy, like the rest of the nation, is hurting. Many Kansans are without jobs or struggling to make ends meet. Parkinson recommends raising the sales tax and removing the sales tax exempt status of churches and other religious institutions. This will inevitably hurt the Kansas economy.
