Kansas Governor Recommends Raising Taxes
The Kansas economy, like the rest of the nation, is hurting. Many Kansans are without jobs or struggling to make ends meet. How does Democrat Governor Mark Parkinson recommend solving the economic down turn, job losses and budget woes facing the state? Raise taxes of course! Parkinson recommends raising the sales tax and removing the sales tax exempt status of churches and other religious institutions. This will inevitably hurt the Kansas economy.
